I was a shy kid growing up—always keeping to myself. This “quiet me” stuck around all the way through college, until photography came along and cracked open a whole new world.
I got my first camera from a tiny, bustling shop in the crowded lanes of Chandni Chowk, New Delhi. This new Nikon F80 35mm film camera that became my constant companion. I loved the feel of it in my hands and took it everywhere, eager to capture anything that caught my eye.
At first, I was obsessed with getting every shot just right. But, in those pre-digital days, one wouldn’t know if a photo was amazing or just a blurry mess until much later. Eventually, I learned to let go and stopped stressing about perfection. Photography became less about capturing a flawless picture and more about experiencing the moment.
My camera sparked a passion for traveling and discovering new places. My travels have filled countless film rolls and memory cards.
Every trip has been a chance to push my boundaries and added many colourful layers to my journey.
